This movie is a beautiful take on love and the complications of life and how each moment in time matters when you are sharing it with someone you love.

We Live in Time is a cinematic experience that resonates deeply, weaving a narrative that is both creative and thought-provoking. From the moment the film began, I found myself captivated by its intricate storytelling and emotional depth. The exploration of relationships and the passage of time struck a chord with me, reminding me of my own experiences with love and loss. It's not often that a film can pull at your heartstrings while simultaneously making you ponder the complexities of human connection.

One standout aspect of We Live in Time is its creativity. The filmmakers have taken bold risks with their non-linear storytelling approach, which, while occasionally disorienting, adds layers to the narrative. There were moments when I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride through time, sometimes exhilarating but also slightly confusing as timelines shifted unpredictably. It kept me on my toes! However, these jumps ultimately enriched my viewing experience; they invited me to engage more deeply with the characters' journeys, piecing together their lives like an intricate puzzle.

The performances in this film are nothing short of exceptional. Andrew Garfield (Tobias) and Florence Pugh (Almut) brings raw authenticity to their roles, making their struggles and triumphs feel incredibly real. Their chemistry is palpable; I found myself emotionally invested in their relationships as if they were friends navigating life's ups and downs right alongside me. The way Florence portrays a battle with cancer and the fight to create an image of yourself to live on for your children is incredible. The raw emotion made it feel so real and made my heart hurt for Almut and her family. Their daughter Ellie worked so well in creating a true family dynamic, causing me to really connect and sympathise with each character on a personal level. Moments of joy intertwined with heartbreak linger long after the credits rolled, an impressive feat for any film.
